About the application

This year's theme is "Innovation Meets Technology".

2024 will be the same route as 2023. The parade will begin at Roswell Area Park. The new parade route is as follows: Line up at Roswell Area Park, left on Woodstock Road, right on Canton Street, right on Magnolia, and left into First Baptist Church on Mimosa Blvd. Parade applicants will be required to attend one pre-event meeting. This meeting will be held at Roswell City Hall and over Zoom. The meeting will be held on September 25th at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Both of these times will have a zoom link.

About the event

Youth Day has been a long-standing tradition in Roswell that began in 1950 when a group of parents decided to sponsor a parade and a day of activities to honor the youth of the city. In 1951, Mayor Ford Rucker proclaimed the second Saturday in October as "Roswell Youth Day" and each year the tradition grows stronger within the community.
