About the application

We are so excited to welcome returning and new artists to the Fine Art Show & Sale and Art Mart at the 79th Fair!
Please complete this short online application for the Fine Art Exhibit, Art Mart or both, or if you prefer print out and mail the registration form along with your application fee check. This year the Art Mart and Fine Art Exhibit are combined into one application. ART is located at the Red Barn, in the center of the of the village. Fine Art is in the upper level and Art Mart in the lower level. We are proud of the quality of the art that is offered at the Waterford Fair and expect the Red Barn Exhibit to be a big hit with the Fair’s visitors!

The Fair is presented by the Waterford Foundation. Funds raised are used to preserve and protect the Waterford National Historic Landmark and to educate future generations about early life in rural America. Please read the attached prospectus carefully as Art Mart and Fine Art criteria and processes differ. We recommend you download the prospectus and the important dates document to keep on hand for future reference.  Thank you for taking part and for helping use keep our mission going strong!

About the event

Come shop, play, tour and make memories during this 79-year-old tradition -- the Waterford Foundation's "Waterford Fair"! The Fair is the mid-Atlantic's quintessential fall festival with demonstrating fine heritage & contemporary craft artisans, living historians, a juried art show, historic properties tour, local libations, Waterford Craft School talks & workshops, and entertainment for all ages. Located in the National Historic Landmark of Waterford (f. 1733), this unique village is situated in Western Loudoun County, Virginia. Noted as "DC's Wine Country", we are only 50 minutes from the District of Columbia. Tickets go on sale in August. Children (12 & under) & Foundation members FREE! Ticket types: VIP, Early Bird (Fri only), youth, single day, military, 3-day passes and seniors (over 65). Event proceeds support the preservation and education efforts of the Waterford Foundation, a 501(c)(3). Join the Waterford Foundation at . Terms & Conditions

The application fee is not refundable. Fee payment constitutes consignor's agreement to abide by our terms and conditions as outlined in the prospectus. Volunteering: Art Mart artists are required to volunteer. Fine Art artists are encouraged to volunteer. Artists who volunteer and work a minimum of 4 hours before or during the Fair will get free admittance to the Fair. Volunteers will receive a badge good for the day of your shift and a ticket for one (1) additional day. Shift details and sign up can be found here: https://www.signupgenius.com/
