NJ Sheep and Fiber Festival Sponsor Application Terms and Conditions for the NJ Sheep and Fiber Festival (“Festival”)
By submitting a sponsorship application, the applicant (“Sponsor”) agrees to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Sponsorship Acceptance
Submission of a sponsorship application does not guarantee acceptance. All sponsorship applications are subject to review and approval by the Festival organizers, Garden State Sheep Breeders. The Festival reserves the right to decline any application at its sole discretion.
2. Payment
Sponsorship benefits are not guaranteed until full payment has been received unless other arrangements have been approved in writing by the Festival.
Failure to remit payment by the specified deadline may result in cancellation of the sponsorship and forfeiture of associated benefits.
3. Sponsor Benefits
Sponsors will receive the benefits associated with their selected sponsorship level as outlined. Benefits are provided only after payment is received and according to the deadlines established by the Festival.
4. Promotional Materials
Sponsors are responsible for submitting logos, advertisements, website links, and other promotional materials in the requested formats by the published deadlines.
The Festival is not responsible for errors, omissions, or the inability to include materials received after the deadline.
5. Use of Names and Logos
By participating, the Sponsor grants the Garden State Sheep Breeders and the Festival permission to use the Sponsor’s business name, logo, and approved promotional materials in Festival advertising, printed materials, websites, and social media solely for the purpose of promoting the Festival and acknowledging sponsorship.
The Festival’s name, logo, and branding may not be used by the Sponsor without prior written permission, except to accurately identify the Sponsor’s participation in the Sheep and Fiber Festival.
6. Cancellation by Sponsor
Sponsor cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Unless otherwise stated in the Sponsor Prospectus:
• Cancellations received on or before the published cancellation deadline may be eligible for a partial refund, less any administrative or promotional costs already incurred.
• No refunds will be issued after the cancellation deadline.
7. Event Cancellation or Force Majeure
If the Festival is postponed, canceled, or significantly altered due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government actions, labor disputes, or other force majeure events, the Festival shall not be liable for consequential damages.
The Festival may, at its discretion, apply sponsorship payments toward a rescheduled event, provide alternative promotional benefits, or issue refunds in whole or in part.
8. Compliance
Sponsors agree to comply with all Festival rules, venue policies, applicable laws, and instructions provided by Festival staff.
9. Indemnification
The Sponsor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Festival and its representatives from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from the Sponsor’s acts, omissions, products, services, or promotional activities, as applicable.
10. Conduct
The Festival strives to provide a welcoming, family-friendly environment. Sponsors and their representatives are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
The Festival reserves the right to remove any sponsor or representative whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or inconsistent with the Festival’s mission, without refund.
11. Photography and Media
The Festival may photograph or record the event. Sponsors consent to the use of images or recordings that include their displays, logos, booths, or representatives for future promotional purposes without additional compensation.
12. Privacy
Information collected through the sponsorship application will be used for Festival administration, sponsor communications, and fulfillment of sponsorship benefits. Sponsor contact information will not be sold to third parties except as required by law or as necessary to administer the event.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the Festival is held. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts within that jurisdiction unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
14. Agreement
Submission of the sponsorship application constitutes acknowledgment that the Sponsor has read, understands, and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
