About the event

Tokyo, OK (TOK) is a fan-based convention with a mission of "Promoting the Education and Enjoyment of Japanese culture, popular culture, arts, and media.". Tokyo, OK proves that education does not have to come from traditional sources and that even two vastly different worldviews can find common ground. From humble beginnings as a parking lot block party and despite many road blocks, Tokyo, OK has grown each year. The Nineteeth Annual Tokyo, OK will be held on June 25-27, 2027. Tokyo, OK hosts over 500+ hours of programming for Anime, Gaming (Console, Video and Tabletop), Japanese and Oklahoma Culture, Art, Writing, Music, Shopping (with vendors, artists and exhibitors from all of the country) and much more! Join us for a full weekend of nonstop fun! Tokyo, OK, TOK, and all content is managed as a Program of the Oklahoma Society for Culture Appreciation: Promoting Education & Community Through Entertainment.

About the application

Community sponsors typically provide a small discount or free themed item(s) for the duration of the event if the patron presents an Event Badge or entry. This would be a benefit available to all participants of the event.

Community Sponsors receive:

  • One (1) sponsor specific promotion post or push notification per day across our social media and our Events App during the event, Thursday-Sunday.
  • Their company logo in the special partnership section of the website.
  • Advertisement of promotion on a Community Sponsor section of our website.
  • Their company logo featured in our app and in our registration system.
  • They are listed in our “Community Sponsor Thank You” Post.
  • Two (2) weekend passes & two (2) Saturday Day passes to give away to staff members to attend the event.

We request all efforts be made to finalize details for these sponsorships a week before the event.
