Join us for a fun, family-friendly Trunk or Treat from 3:00–5:00 PM!

FAMILY-FRIENDLY • NO-SCARE ZONE
Our regular Trunk or Treat is meant to be welcoming and fun for children of all ages. Please do not have scare actors, jump scares, or intentionally scare children at your trunk.

If you want to have scare actors, jump scares, or a scarier trunk experience, please sign up for our Haunted Trunk Zone instead!

⏰ TRUNK CHECK-IN: 1:00–2:30 PM
All participating trunks must check in between 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM so everyone is parked, decorated, and completely ready when Trunk or Treat begins at 3:00 PM.

NEW LOCATION & ENTRY THIS YEAR
Trunk or Treat is moving this year! Please enter near NAPA in Goldendale, where our event team will check you in and direct you to your assigned spot.

PLEASE COME PREPARED FOR A LOT OF TRICK-OR-TREATERS!
We recommend bringing a minimum of 1,000 pieces of candy for your trunk. Our Trunk or Treat gets a LOT of kids, and we want everyone to be able to enjoy the fun!

You don't have to hand out only candy! We encourage mixing in fun non-food items such as:
Mini toys
✏️ Pencils
⭐ Stickers
Other small Halloween goodies

These are also wonderful options for children with food allergies or dietary restrictions and can help stretch your candy supply.

ORGANIZATIONS & GROUPS
Bringing multiple trunks from the same business, organization, club, or group? Let us know when you register so we can do our best to place your trunks together.

Terms & Conditions

By registering to participate in the Klickitat County Harvest Festival Trunk or Treat, I understand and agree to the following:

Event Time & Check-In
Trunk or Treat: 3:00 PM–5:00 PM
Participant Check-In: 1:00 PM–2:30 PM
All participating vehicles must arrive, park, decorate, and be completely set up by 3:00 PM. Trunks face inwards towards the street.
Participants will enter near NAPA in Goldendale and follow event staff directions to their assigned space.
For the safety of attendees, vehicles may not be moved during Trunk or Treat unless directed by event staff.
Participants are expected to remain set up through 5:00 PM.

Family-Friendly • No-Scare Zone
The regular Trunk or Treat is a family-friendly, NO-SCARE area.
No scare actors, jump scares, intentionally frightening children, or excessively scary interactions are permitted.
Participants who want to include scare actors, jump scares, or a scarier experience should register for the Haunted Trunk Zone instead.
Event organizers reserve the right to ask participants to modify or remove decorations, activities, or behavior that are not appropriate for the family-friendly Trunk or Treat area.

Candy, Food & Giveaways
We receive a large number of trick-or-treaters and recommend that each trunk bring a minimum of 1,000 pieces of candy or giveaway items.
NO HOMEMADE FOOD OR TREATS ARE PERMITTED.
All candy and edible treats must be commercially produced, individually wrapped, and in their original packaging.
Opened, unwrapped, or homemade food items may not be distributed.
Participants are encouraged to include non-food items for children with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
Non-food options can include stickers, pencils, erasers, temporary tattoos, mini toys, or other small kid-friendly items.
Participants are responsible for supplying their own candy and giveaway items.

Organizations & Multiple Trunks
Businesses, organizations, clubs, teams, or groups bringing multiple trunks should let us know during registration.
We will do our best to place your trunks together.
Final placement is determined by event organizers based on available space, safety, and event flow.

⚠️ Participant Responsibilities & Safety
Participants are responsible for safely decorating and operating their own trunk or display.
Decorations and activities must not block roadways, emergency access, walkways, or create tripping or other safety hazards.
Children participating with a trunk must be supervised by a responsible adult.
Participants must follow directions given by Klickitat County Harvest Festival staff and volunteers.
Event organizers reserve the right to relocate, modify, or remove a display or participant when necessary for safety or event operations.

Weather & Event Changes
Trunk or Treat is an outdoor community event and is a rain, wind, snow or shine event.

By submitting my registration, I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. I am responsible for making sure everyone participating with my trunk follows these requirements and any instructions provided by Klickitat County Harvest Festival staff.
