Mrs. Roper Look Alike Contest Form

Show off your best Mrs. Roper-inspired style for a chance to win! Contest participants are encouraged to embrace the colorful caftans, curly wigs, bold accessories, and larger-than-life personality that made Mrs. Roper an iconic television character. Judges will evaluate contestants based on creativity, authenticity, overall presentation, and crowd appeal.

2nd Place – Most Creative Interpretation
3rd Place – Crowd Favorite

Contest registration and number pick-up will take place during the event check-in period. Bring your fabulous flair and get ready to strut your stuff on Main Street! ?✨Voting will be taking place as you enter each of the participating businesses. Winners will be announced at LaLaPops after the Bingo.

Terms & Conditions for Contest Participation
By submitting an application and participating in the Mrs. Roper Look-Alike Contest ("Contest"), participants agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Eligibility
Contest participants must be at least 18 years of age or have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
Participants must be registered for the Contest prior to the application deadline or registration cutoff established by event organizers.
Employees, volunteers, judges, and immediate family members of event organizers may participate but are not eligible to receive prizes.
2. Contest Theme
The Contest celebrates the iconic and recognizable style of Mrs. Roper from Three's Company.
Participants are encouraged to wear colorful caftans, wigs, accessories, and attire inspired by the character.
Costumes must be family-friendly and suitable for a public community event.
3. Registration
All participants must complete the official Contest application.
Organizers reserve the right to reject applications that contain inappropriate content or fail to meet Contest guidelines.
Participants will receive a Contest number that must be displayed or presented during judging.
4. Judging Criteria
Participants will be evaluated based on:

Overall resemblance to the Mrs. Roper character
Creativity and originality
Costume quality and presentation
Enthusiasm and stage presence
Adherence to the Contest theme
5. Awards
Three winners will be selected:

1st Place – Best Overall Mrs. Roper
2nd Place – Most Creative Interpretation
3rd Place – Crowd Favorite
All judges' decisions are final.

6. Participant Conduct
Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner.
Harassment, disruptive behavior, offensive language, or inappropriate conduct may result in disqualification.
Organizers reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior negatively impacts the event.
7. Photography & Media Release
By participating, contestants grant permission for photographs, video recordings, and digital media captured during the Contest to be used by the event organizers, sponsors, and City of Pittsburg for promotional, educational, marketing, and social media purposes without compensation.
Participants waive any rights to inspect or approve the use of such materials.
8. Assumption of Risk
Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in the Contest and related event activities.
Organizers are not responsible for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
9. Cancellation or Modification
Event organizers reserve the right to modify, postpone, suspend, or cancel the Contest due to weather, safety concerns, low participation, or circumstances beyond their control.
Prize substitutions may be made at the discretion of organizers.
10. Right to Use Name and Likeness
Winners may be announced publicly through event marketing materials, social media, press releases, and other promotional channels.
By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, image, and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an application and participating in the Mrs. Roper Look-Alike Contest, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
