Welcome to the Entertainment Application for Gulfcoast Pride Festival 2026!

Project Pride SRQ is excited to welcome entertainers, artists, speakers, and performers from across our community to Gulfcoast Pride 2026 — a vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ pride, culture, visibility, joy, and belonging.

Whether you are an experienced performer or an emerging artist, we want to hear from you. This year’s entertainment lineup may include drag performers, musicians, dance groups, spoken word artists, youth talent, storytellers, community speakers, and more. We especially encourage submissions from BIPOC artists, trans and nonbinary performers, LGBTQ+ youth, community elders, and artists whose work reflects the diversity and strength of our Gulf Coast community.

We are building an inclusive and dynamic lineup that celebrates local talent, uplifts LGBTQ+ voices, and reflects the spirit of Gulfcoast Pride. If you have a performance, story, message, or creative offering to share, we invite you to apply.

Terms & Conditions

By submitting this application, you (“Performer” or “Applicant”) agree to the following terms and conditions for consideration and participation in Gulfcoast Pride Festival 2026 (“Festival”), produced by Project Pride SRQ (“Organizer”).

Application Review & Acceptance

• Submission of this application does not guarantee a performance slot.
• All applications will be reviewed by the Organizer. Accepted performers will receive written confirmation with scheduling, performance expectations, and event logistics.
• A performance slot is not confirmed until the Organizer provides official written confirmation.
• The Organizer reserves the right to decline any application for any reason, including scheduling limitations, event needs, content concerns, safety considerations, or alignment with the Festival’s mission and values.

Performance Content

• All performances must align with the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, respect, safety, and community belonging.
• Content must be appropriate for the audience type selected in the application, including family-friendly or adult-oriented content, if applicable.
• Hate speech, discriminatory content, harassment, explicit violence, or content that targets or demeans any protected class or community will not be permitted.
• Performers are responsible for ensuring they have the right to perform any music, choreography, spoken word, visual material, or other creative content included in their performance.
• The Organizer reserves the right to request edits to performance content or to remove a performer from the schedule if content is determined to be unsafe, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the Festival’s values.

Scheduling & Logistics

• Performance times, stage assignments, call times, and locations will be determined by the Organizer.
• Performers must arrive on time for check-in, scheduled preparation, sound check, and performance slots.
• Late arrivals may result in shortened performance time or removal from the schedule.
• Unapproved no-shows may impact eligibility for future Project Pride SRQ events.
• Performers are responsible for reviewing and following all event-day instructions provided by the Organizer or production team.

Compensation & Volunteering

• Performers who indicate that they are volunteering their time acknowledge that no compensation will be provided.
• Performers requesting compensation must clearly state their rate or expectations in the application.
• Any payment, stipend, honorarium, travel support, or reimbursement must be confirmed in writing by the Organizer before the Festival.
• Paid performers may be required to complete additional documentation, including invoices, tax forms, or a separate performer agreement, before payment can be processed.

Equipment & Technical Needs

• Performers are responsible for bringing any specialized or personal equipment, instruments, props, costumes, or materials not expressly provided by the Organizer.
• All technical needs must be disclosed in advance through the application or follow-up communication.
• The Organizer and production team will make reasonable efforts to accommodate approved technical needs, but last-minute requests may not be accommodated.
• Any props, equipment, or performance elements involving fire, open flame, pyrotechnics, weapons, sharp objects, liquids, glitter, confetti, smoke, fog, or other safety-sensitive materials must be disclosed in advance and approved in writing.

Promotion & Use of Likeness

• By submitting this application, you grant Project Pride SRQ permission to use your name, stage name, likeness, submitted photos, biography, performance description, and related promotional materials for Festival marketing and communications.
• This may include use on websites, social media, email, press materials, event listings, sponsor materials, photography, video, and other promotional channels.
• You retain ownership of your original work and performance material.
• If you submit photos, videos, logos, or other materials, you confirm that you have permission to provide those materials to Project Pride SRQ for promotional use.

Youth & Emerging Talent

• Applicants under 18 must have written parent or guardian consent to perform.
• Youth performers must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or approved responsible adult at all times unless otherwise approved by the Organizer in writing.
• The Organizer may require additional documentation for youth performers, including proof of age, parent/guardian authorization, emergency contact information, and media release forms.
• Youth performance participation must comply with applicable laws, safety requirements, and event policies.

Safety & Code of Conduct

• All performers and approved guests must follow event staff, security, volunteer, and production team instructions.
• Performers are expected to help maintain a safe, respectful, welcoming, and inclusive environment for attendees, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, staff, and fellow performers.
• Harassment, threats, unsafe behavior, intoxication that interferes with participation, unauthorized access to restricted areas, or failure to follow event instructions may result in removal from the Festival.
• The Organizer reserves the right to remove any performer or guest whose conduct is deemed unsafe, disruptive, discriminatory, or inconsistent with Project Pride SRQ’s mission and values.

Cancellations & Changes

• If you are unable to perform, please notify the Organizer as soon as possible and no later than 7 days before the Festival whenever possible.
• In the event of weather, emergency, permitting changes, safety concerns, production needs, or other unforeseen circumstances, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel, delay, relocate, reschedule, shorten, or modify programming.
• The Organizer may adjust performance times, duration, location, or run-of-show as needed.
• If the Festival is cancelled, delayed, or modified due to circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control, compensation, if any, will be handled according to the written terms confirmed with the performer.

Liability & Personal Property

• Performers participate at their own risk.
• Project Pride SRQ, its partners, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, contractors, and event representatives are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, equipment, costumes, instruments, props, or materials.
• Performers are responsible for securing and supervising their own belongings and equipment.
• Insurance is not required for all performers but is encouraged for professional acts, groups, and performers bringing specialized equipment or materials.

Final Approval

• Project Pride SRQ retains final approval over performer selection, scheduling, event programming, promotional materials, stage logistics, safety requirements, and public-facing Festival content.
