Raven's & Roses is a themed festival experience that blends Victorian elegance, steampunk imagination, pirate adventure, Viking spirit, gothic romance, and old-world charm into a unique and immersive atmosphere. We are seeking performers who can help create memorable guest experiences through entertainment, interaction, storytelling, music, character portrayals, demonstrations, and other engaging activities.

Participation in the event theme is encouraged but not required. We welcome both themed and non-themed performers whose acts contribute positively to the overall guest experience.

Performance Expectations:

• All performances must remain family-friendly and appropriate for a general audience.
• Roaming performers should engage guests respectfully and avoid disruptive or aggressive interactions.
• Costumes, props, and displays must be safe and suitable for public event environments.
• Performers are encouraged to remain in character when appropriate but should always prioritize guest comfort and safety.
• No weapons, prop weapons, or special effects may be used without prior written approval from event management.

Event Operations:

• Performers may be assigned specific performance times, designated roaming areas, or both.
• Roaming characters should actively interact with guests throughout the event while remaining mindful of vendor spaces, food service areas, and pedestrian traffic flow.
• Amplified sound, generators, and large performance equipment must be approved in advance.
• All participants must maintain a professional appearance and conduct throughout the event.

Load-In & Parking:

• Performer check-in instructions, parking assignments, and arrival schedules will be provided prior to the event.
• Vehicles may not remain within event operating areas during public hours unless specifically authorized.
• All equipment, props, and displays must fit within the space approved during the application process.

Weather & Attendance:

• Raven's & Roses is a rain-or-shine event.
• Participants should be prepared for outdoor conditions and varying weather.
• Approved performers who can no longer attend should notify event management as soon as possible.

ENTERTAINER & CHARACTER APPLICATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

By submitting an application, applicants acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

APPLICATION & ACCEPTANCE
• Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
• NVRMORE Entertainment & Festivals reserves the right to approve or deny any application at its sole discretion.
• Accepted participants will receive confirmation and event details prior to the event.

EVENT THEME
• Raven's & Roses is inspired by Victorian elegance, steampunk adventure, pirate culture, Viking exploration, gothic romance, historical fantasy, and old-world storytelling.
• Themed participation is encouraged but not required.
• Preference may be given to performers and characters whose acts complement the atmosphere and guest experience of the event.
• Characters based on copyrighted film, television, comic, anime, or video game properties are not permitted without appropriate licensing.

CONDUCT & PROFESSIONALISM
• All participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward guests, vendors, sponsors, staff, volunteers, and fellow participants.
• Harassment, discrimination, aggressive behavior, intoxication, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated.
• Participants may be removed from the event without compensation for violations of event policies.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT
• Raven's & Roses is a family-friendly event.
• Costumes, performances, language, props, and guest interactions must remain appropriate for a general audience.
• Event management reserves the right to require modifications to costumes, props, performances, or displays deemed inappropriate.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
• Participants must comply with all local, state, and federal laws.
• No live weapons are permitted.
• Prop weapons must be peace-bonded or otherwise approved by event management.
• Fire, pyrotechnics, smoke effects, open flames, or hazardous materials are prohibited unless approved in writing by event management.
• Participants are responsible for the safe operation and supervision of any approved props or equipment.

PERFORMANCE & PARTICIPATION
• Accepted performers and characters agree to participate during their approved schedule and designated performance periods.
• Roaming characters should remain active and engaged with guests while maintaining awareness of pedestrian traffic, vendor operations, and public safety.
• Event management reserves the right to modify schedules, locations, or performance assignments as needed.

LOAD-IN, PARKING & SETUP
• Participants must follow all load-in, parking, setup, and breakdown instructions provided by event management.
• Vehicles must be moved to designated parking areas prior to event opening unless otherwise authorized.
• Participants are responsible for their own equipment, costumes, displays, and personal belongings.

WEATHER POLICY
• Raven's & Roses is a rain-or-shine event.
• Participants should be prepared for changing weather conditions.
• No refunds, guarantees, or compensation will be provided due to weather-related impacts, attendance fluctuations, or circumstances beyond event management's control.

PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA RELEASE
• By participating, applicants grant NVRMORE Entertainment & Festivals permission to photograph, film, and use images or recordings of their participation for promotional, marketing, advertising, social media, and future event purposes without additional compensation.

LIABILITY
• Participants assume all risks associated with participation in the event.
• Participants are responsible for any injury, loss, theft, or damage to their persons, costumes, equipment, displays, or property.
• NVRMORE Entertainment & Festivals, LLC, its staff, volunteers, sponsors, venue partners, and affiliates shall not be held liable for injury, loss, theft, damage, delays, weather-related impacts, or other circumstances beyond their control.

EVENT MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
• Event management reserves the right to interpret and enforce all event rules and policies.
• Failure to comply with event policies may result in removal from the event and ineligibility for future participation.
