Skatercade 3: Volunteer Application

This year, we're looking for Skatercade 3 Volunteers who are open to helping with the following:

• Skating Area
• Arcade Area
• Registration Area
• Operations & Setup Crew
• Special Guests Crew
  And more!

Please note that all approved volunteers will be required to complete a background check and sign all required waivers and agreements prior to participating in the event.

Approved volunteers will receive:

• One food voucher with Munchies Food Truck
• Volunteer credential/badge
• Access to the volunteer and staff lounge

By submitting a volunteer application, accepting a volunteer position, or participating as a volunteer at Skatercade 3 ("Event"), volunteers acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Assumption of Risk
Volunteer participation may involve: 

• physical activity
• standing for extended periods
• lifting equipment
• crowd interaction

and other event-related responsibilities.

Volunteers voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, volunteers release and hold harmless Tigers United Gaming, Dream Con, Texas Southern University, the Texas Southern University Recreation & Wellness Center, event staff, sponsors, partners, vendors, and affiliated organizations from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from volunteer participation in the Event.

Personal Property
Volunteers are responsible for their own personal belongings. Event organizers and affiliated parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

Photography & Media Release
By volunteering at the Event, volunteers grant permission for photographs, video recordings, livestream footage, and other media captured during the Event to be used by Tigers United Gaming, Dream Con, Texas Southern University, and affiliated partners for promotional, marketing, educational, and archival purposes without compensation.

Agreement to Terms
By submitting a volunteer application, accepting a volunteer position, or participating in the Event, volunteers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
