Anime Weekend Atlanta is very excited to announce applications for our Interstellar Spotlight Stage! This stage is for performers who would like their own stage show slot during AWA, and will be located in the video gaming hall. We are thrilled to be able to provide more opportunities for idols to perform live as well as gain experience on a multitude of stages.
Terms & Conditions
Performers can apply for a 30 minute long or 45 minute long slot on the stage, which includes setup and teardown time. This stage will also host 30 minute or 1 hour long random play dance panels and other non-dance exhibitions, which should be applied for through the regular AWA panel application, not this application.
For inquiries about stage time, please reach out to the organizers at idols@awa-con.com. Each idol performer on the Interstellar Spotlight Stage will be given an opportunity to sell merchandise at the AWA Idol Booth all weekend long. This year, media turn-in will be REQUIRED by October 10th.

The Interstellar Spotlight Stage will be open during the following hours:
Thursday: 1:00pm-10:00pm
Friday: 10:00am-12:00am
Saturday: 10:00am-12:00am
Sunday: 10:00am-4:00pm
The stage will host panels, but not idol performances, during the Starlight Idol Festival, Comet Stage, and Event Horizon timeslots.
*Please note that you and all your group members need a valid AWA Membership to participate. AWA will not provide these. Those who qualify for discounted or free badges using AWA's badge math (discounted = <4 hours of programming, free = 4/+ hours of programming) will be contacted about their badge codes. Your qualification will include panels and performance time.*
Shows submitted by April 30th will receive status emails by June 1st
Shows submitted by May 31st will receive status emails by July 1st
Shows submitted by June 30th will receive status emails by August 1st
Shows submitted by July 31st will receive status emails by September 1st
Shows submitted by August 15th will receive status emails by October 1st
Accepted acts will be required to join the AWA Discord to keep in contact with the organizers.
