About the application
Welcome, cosmonaughts, to the third year of the Event Horizon V-Idol Festival! We are looking forward to including Vtubers and Virtual Idols at this year's convention, and we hope that you share that excitement! The festival this year will be comprised of pre-recorded but new videos from virtual talents that will be shown to a live audience. 2d, 2.5d, and 3d V-idols are welcome to apply to the show.
While we focus on Japanese idols, music, and media, we will consider every application equally and carefully. You are welcome to submit proposals for covers or original songs in your setlist. The festival will be emcee'd, and we will make every effort to be able to stream the festival so that the accepted talents can watch and see the audience (more information about this will be available closer to con).
Terms & Conditions
V-idols will be given a 10 minute slot, which you may fill with songs, emcee, or bits. We do ask that all audio recordings have minimal editing or tuning, and that all V-idols make a video with their model showcasing themselves singing. If you have special requests or ideas for your set, please contact the organizers at idols@awa-con.com so that we can work together to see if they are feasible.
Acts are not required or expected to be in attendance at the show, but if you are you will be given the chance to enter early to ensure a spot in the audience or to sit at the tech booth with the organizers. The time and date of the festival is TBA, but will likely be on Saturday. Deadlines for videos will be sent out in acceptance emails. Legal names for all performers are *required*, for contracting purposes. They will not be shared or used outside of the necessary contexts. Talents may have an agent sign on their behalf, but all talents must have a contract.
Accepted performers will be required to join the AWA Discord OR have an agent, manager, or other trusted individual join to relay information.

- I ackowledge that accepted acts can be removed from the festival at the organizers discretion.
