Anime Weekend Atlanta's Comet Stage is proud to announce that we're returning for our fourth year! This event's focus is on upcoming idols who may not have had many chances to perform on a stage, in order to give them the full experience. Ideal candidates for this stage are less experienced idols who want to learn the ropes at a full-sized event while receiving more help and mentorship from the stage crew in order to put on a professional-level performance. Please ensure that you are applying to the correct festival, as over-qualified acts will not be considered for the Comet Stage.
Terms & Conditions
Performers will get around 10 minutes (~2 songs) on stage in our 2 hour event and the opportunity to sell merchandise and meet their fans at a meet & greet during AWA weekend, as well as sell merch at a shared booth all weekend long. All performers are REQUIRED to attend a soundcheck before the show, times TBA. Performers for the Comet Stage must be 16 or older. This performance may have haze and flashing lights. Please prioritize your health and take this into consideration when applying.
Date & time:
Comet Stage - Thursday, November 19; time TBA.
Soundcheck - Time TBA, likely the two hours prior to the festival. You MUST be present for soundcheck to perform in the Comet Stage.
Please note that you and all your group members need a valid AWA Membership to participate.
The deadline for auditions is Sunday, May 17th, 2026.
Acceptance, rejection, and waitlist emails will be sent on May 30th.
Accepted acts will be required to join the AWA Discord to keep in contact with the organizers.
