About the Workshop
- Intensive Highland Dance workshop with our adjudicator, Pat McMaster
- Workshop has been approved for CPD credit.
- Location: Dance Stage Helotes Fairgrounds
- It is recommended for dancers to register early as class sizes will be limited.
- Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to begin warming up.
- Wear appropriate dancewear; knee hi socks, shoes, & hair tied back out of face.
- Bring swords/yardsticks if you have them, practice skirts, notebook, pen, and water bottle.
- Parents please drop your children off and pick up at appropriate times.
As a reminder… Please remember the 3 month rule in regards to judging and workshops.
Workshop Schedule
Intermediate and Premier Dance workshop will be at the conclusion of Dance Competition on the dance stage.
2 hour master class covering the 2025 Championship Steps for Intermediate, Premiers, and teachers.
Pre-Premier & Advance Primary Dancers: Sunday 11:00-12:30
1.5 hour master class on Highland Technique for Pre-Premier Dancers and teachers.
(Dancers must know at least the Fling and Sword dance to attend as a participant)

Privacy Disclosure Statement: Personal data (PII) is collected from the competition entry form and owned by the SAHGA for the purpose of performing our duties within RSOBHD and ScotDance USA guidelines. All data is recorded in electronic format and retained for a period of one (1) year at which time electronic records will be deleted and paper entry forms properly disposed.
By proceeding with this online registration, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, waive and release the SAHGA, their agents, representatives, successors, and agencies for any and all damages which may be suffered by myself or my child while attending or participating in the San Antonio Highland Games. I further authorize these authorities to use photographs, video or name of myself or child participating at the San Antonio Highland Games for future promotional and publicity purposes, without obligation or liability to me.
I acknowledge that by submitting this entry electronically, that I have read this agreement carefully and agree to abide by the rules and procedures of this competition and the San Antonio Highland Games & Celtic Music Festival 2025.
