Cosplays Got Talent

Applications are open for CosPlay's Got Talent - 3.0

We are always trying to offer something exciting for our fans, so this show we are again taking the concept of America’s Got Talent and bending it a little to celebrate our CosPlayers, by capitalizing on the Play in CosPlay!

Introducing for the third edition of “Cosplays Got Talent!”, sponsored by Raleigh Llama Productions.

Blending a traditional talent show with the fun of CosPlay, the contest will be held Sunday, October 20th from 4PM to 7PM ---- on the Main Stage in the ballroom of the Crown Expo Center. Contestants must be pre-registered. Performance will be limited to no more than three minutes, not including interaction time with the judges. Contestants will be able to register in one of the following categories.

Categories for the “CosPlays Got Talent” Event

•         Musical (includes all Instrumental or Vocal Performances)
•         Dance (includes all Individual or Group Performances)
•         Theatrical (includes all Skits and Creative Acts)

As we seek sponsorships the cash prizes may grow but at a minimum there will be of CASH (or Visa Gift Card) prizes, as follows:

•         Category 1st Place: $100
•         Category 2nd Place: $50
•         Category 3rd Place: $25
•         Best in Show: An additional $150 on top of the Category Winner prize

The Best in Show Award must be one of the Category Winners, so that means the best act of the evening will walk away with $250

All contestants must have tickets to Fayetteville Comic Con. Tickets are on sale, with all options found at www.fayettevillecomiccon.com.

If we find more sponsors for this event, then we can potentially up the prizes.

In consideration for permission to provide floor space to exhibitors, vendors, artists, performers, celebrity talent, agencies and/or organizations as part of the Fayetteville Comic Con Fall 2024 Show sponsored by Raleigh Llama Productions, Inc. DBA Fayetteville Comic Con, Inc., being held at the Crown Expo Center, 1960 Coliseum Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28306 including October 18th (Set-Up and Select VIP), October 19th and October 20th, 2024, the Talent agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, defend, release, and forever discharge Raleigh Llama Productions, Fayetteville Comic Con, Inc., the Cumberland County Civic Center Commission, OVG360, Oak View Group, and their agents, representatives, and employees, and any person or persons under its direction and control from, and waive any and all responsibility of same, for any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, loss or expense (including costs and attorneys’ fees), loss or damage of any kind whatsoever imposed by law upon the same for damages because of bodily injury, including death at any time resulting there from, sustained by any person or persons, or on account of damages to property, including loss of use thereof, arising out of or in consequence of the performance of this agreement, provided such injury to persons or damage to property results from and is caused by the negligent or willful acts or omissions of Raleigh Llama Productions, Fayetteville Comic Con, Inc., the Cumberland County Civic Center Commission, OVG360, Oak View Group, its officers, agents, employees, or any person or persons under its direct supervision and control.
