Mini Flower Dish #5

A tiny flower dish for many uses: ring dish, tea bag holder, condiment dish, vitamin reminder or purely a decorative work of art. It measures 3/4" in height, 3 1/4" in width, with a depth of 3 1/4". My signature is on the underside of the foot and each piece is a complete original! I use a high-fired porcelain clay body, rendering this form very robust. The dish is hand-built using slab construction and features a decorative layer of hand-colored porcelain slip with hand-drawn designs in underglaze. The entire dish is covered with a FOOD SAFE, transparent clear gloss glaze. This piece has been fired multiple times in an electric kiln...all of the decoration is permanent.
