Miniature sculpted caricature of Mark Twain, beloved American author of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, is a perfect decoration to hang in your home or office. He is an all original sculpture in paper clay with fabric sleeves and trousers and ribbon bow tie. He holds a feather quill pen and writing page. He sits in a felt-lined shadowbox (frame may vary from picture), but may be removed and is articulated with flexible arms and legs. The piece measures 12" x 7.75 x 4". Frame is 9.5" x 7.75".

Friedericy Dolls & Figurative Art
A childhood love for making dolls and puppets and an educational and professional background in theatre and fashion design all came together thirty years ago when I combined my interests and began a business of "dolls as art". Whimsical figures are sculpted in porcelain and paper clay on a wire armatured body. The costumes are made from vintage textiles, lace, and silks.
Each work is completely hand made with my primary inspiration coming from literature and fantasy. The notion of art dolls and figures as decorative objects lead to creating character shadowboxes and masked tiles as wall art.
