I have been preoccupied with drawing and painting since as long as I can remember. At the University of Toronto I studied Art and Art History. I also took courses at OCAD and Three Schools of Art.
In 2004 I participated in my first art show with my hydrangea paintings. Only a few years later I had to take an extended break due to a family illness.
In 2018 I returned to painting hydrangeas fulltime.
Flowers fascinate me - their shapes, colours, patterns, strength, movement, and of course their beauty. Using numerous layers of paint I strive to capture these qualities. For years I have focused on hydrangeas, but am now expanding to include other flowers.
All my paintings are acrylic on gallery canvas with finished sides. .
