Recently, my daughter was receiving counseling from PIH. She reported to her counselor that an adult male had hit her on her head, repeatedly. The counselor did not report it to CPS, nor was I notified. The reason given was that my daughter consented to 'horseplay' and was 'bonding' with this man. So, not abuse, but a simple 'miscommunication'. I followed up with CPS to investigate, but PIH blocked the investigation even though they had evidence I had provided that abuse was occurring and had previously occurred. They admitted to not even looking at the evidence. When I challenged PIH in their absolute failure to advocate for my daughter they alleged that I was a bully and immediately terminated the counseling my daughter was receiving. The pattern of abuse will likely continue. PIH, a complete and total failure.
