Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your interest in being a part of The Heart of Virginia Festival! Below are general guidelines for our volunteers. Please read over these at your leisure and if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us! Rules for Participation We require that anyone completing this form be at least 13 years of age. If you represent an organization that will have volunteers under the age of 13, the volunteer application must be completed by an adult and those volunteers must be accompanied by an adult on the day of the festival. Early Morning Set Up The morning shift runs from 6:00 AM until 9:00 AM. The morning shift will be broken up into hour long increments. Volunteers will help vendors unload their vehicles on Main Street & High Street, set up tables and chairs at the performance stages, and other tasks involved with setting up the festival. Specific shifts and assignments will be communicated by the Volunteer Coordinator. Afternoon Break Down & Clean Up The afternoon shift runs from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Volunteers will help with breaking down tables and chairs at the performance stages, ending lines at food vendors, and other tasks involved with ending the festival. Specific assignments will be communicated by the Volunteer Coordinator.
