About the event

Palm Springs Pride Celebration 2025 Experience the vibrant energy of Palm Springs Pride, a multi-day celebration of love, diversity, and community! From November 6–9, downtown Palm Springs transforms into a colorful festival of music, entertainment, and LGBTQ+ pride. • Thursday, Nov 6 – Latin Pride on Arenas Road kicks off the celebration with music, dancing, and culture. • Friday, Nov 7 – Arenas District Pride Kick-Off sets the tone for a weekend of festivities. • Saturday, Nov 8 – The Pride Festival takes over multiple open-air venues with live performances, exhibitors, and community gatherings. • Sunday, Nov 9 – The festival continues, culminating in the Pride Parade, a dazzling display of unity and pride. This FREE and open-to-the-public event invites everyone to sip, sashay, and celebrate in the heart of Palm Springs. Join us as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future of our LGBTQ+ community!

About the application

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in volunteering with Palm Springs Pride. Our volunteers are the heart of our mission, and we are excited to have you join us in making a meaningful impact. To ensure a smooth application process, please follow the steps below: Step 1: Review Volunteer Opportunities Before applying, take a moment to explore the various volunteer roles available. Whether you’re interested in event support, community outreach, or behind-the-scenes logistics, there’s a place for you at Palm Springs Pride. Step 2: Complete the Volunteer Application Fill out our online application form with your contact information, shift selections and upload any required documents. Please not shifts may have minimal changes (30 mins + or -) depending on final event details. Step 4: Attend a Volunteer Orientation Once your application is approved and prior to the event, you will be invited to attend a virtual volunteer orientation session. This session will provide essential information about Palm Springs Pride, your responsibilities, and expectations as a volunteer. Step 5: Get Started! Terms & Conditions

Palm Springs Pride Volunteer Terms and Conditions By signing up for a shift or assignment, you (“Volunteer”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions for participating as a volunteer with Greater Palm Springs Pride (“Organization”). 1. General Release and Waiver of Liability Volunteer understands and acknowledges that their participation in Palm Springs Pride events and activities is voluntary and undertaken at their own risk. Volunteer, on behalf of themselves, their heirs, assigns, and legal representatives, hereby releases, waives, and discharges Palm Springs Pride, its officers, directors, employees, agents, sponsors, partners, and affiliates (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or causes of action, whether known or unknown, arising from or related to Volunteer’s participation in Greater Palm Springs Pride activities, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, death, or property damage, to the fullest extent permitted by law. 2. Assumption of Risk Volunteer acknowledges that participation in Greater Palm Springs Pride activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, interaction with large crowds, and outdoor or public venue hazards. Volunteer assumes all risks associated with their participation, including risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness of others, hazardous conditions, or acts of third parties. 3. Medical Treatment and Emergency Care Volunteer consents to receive first aid and/or medical treatment that may be deemed necessary in the event of an injury, accident, or illness while participating in Greater Palm Springs Pride activities. Volunteer releases and holds harmless the Released Parties from any claim arising out of such treatment, including medical expenses incurred. Volunteer is responsible for any medical or health insurance coverage for themselves. 4. Photographic and Media Release Volunteer grants Greater Palm Springs Pride the irrevocable right and permission to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute photographs, videos, or other media recordings taken of Volunteer during the event for promotional, marketing, archival, or informational purposes without compensation or further approval. Volunteer waives any right to inspect or approve the finished materials and releases the Organization from any claims arising from the use of such media. 5. Compliance with Event Rules and Directions Volunteer agrees to abide by all rules, policies, and guidelines set forth by Palm Springs Pride, including but not limited to safety procedures, conduct expectations, and instructions from event organizers and supervisors. Volunteer understands that failure to comply may result in removal from the event and termination of their volunteer participation. 6. Release and Discharge of the Organization Volunteer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to Volunteer’s participation in Greater Palm Springs Pride events, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise. 7. Acknowledgment of Understanding By signing up, Volunteer affirms that they have carefully read and fully understand this agreement, including the waiver of liability and assumption of risk provisions. Volunteer acknowledges this agreement voluntarily and that they have the legal authority to do so. Volunteer further acknowledges that this agreement is binding upon them, their heirs, executors, and assigns. This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California. If any portion of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
