About the event

The Ethnic Enrichment Commission of Kansas City is proud to present one of the largest gatherings of multiculturalism - focusing on the traditional cultures found here in our home, Kansas City, and its surrounding metro area. The Ethnic Enrichment Commission of Kansas City is 501(c)(3) non-profit supporting over 60 cultural organizations and communities. Festival operation hours are: Friday, August 15 | 6-10 pm (Gates open at 4:30 PM.) Saturday, August 16 | 12-10 pm (Gates open at 10:30 AM.) Sunday, August 17 | 12-10 pm (Gates open at 10:30 AM.)

About the application

ALL countries participating in the festival MUST complete a MINIMUM of 6 hours before, during or after the festival. Failure to do so, results in NO BOOTH in the 2026 Festival. All hours are eligible for revenue sharing. You CAN go over the 6 hour minimum. After June 5, you will be able to select additional shifts. You are expected to be on time and your entire shift duration. If you complete your assigned task quicker than the allotted time, you MUST check in with the festival manager to see if other tasks need to be complete BEFORE LEAVNG. Shifts are divided between build, festival, and teardown. There is a limit on spots per task, once filled they will not be available. You will report to the respective task manager for check in/check out.

Failure to show up for your shift or check in/out will result in your hours NOT counting towards the minimum or revenue sharing. You are expected to be on time and your entire shift duration. If you complete your assigned task quicker than the allotted time, you MUST check in with the festival manager to see if other tasks need to be complete BEFORE LEAVNG.
