About the event

Renaissance Faire with 9 stages of performances, live jousting, music, comedy, armored combat and live history demonstrations held every Saturday and Sunday over three weeks. We have over 100 vendors including many unique hand made items such as jewelry, leather work, pottery, metal smithing and much more. Food vendors include everything from baked potatoes to turkey legs and we have vegan and gluten free options as well. Our tavern serves beer, wine and mead. Street performances by the cast of the Yorkshire Players and actress Kate Hopkins as Queen Elizabeth. Parking is free and costumes are not required.Only service animals allowed. Smoking and vaping only in approved areas.Handicapped parking is available however the site is rustic and paths are gravel and not always level. All shows are included in the ticket price.

About the application

Be a part of the most exciting event of the summer! The Maine Renaissance Faire cast receives extensive free training in character development, costuming, and interactive theatre. Auditions will be held on Saturday March 15th and Sunday March 16th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day at Yorkshire Masonic Lodge, 77 High St, North Berwick, ME 03906.

The information gathered in this sign-up form will be used for the sole purpose of setting up auditions for the Maine Renaissance Faire volunteer cast. As a volunteer you understand that you will receive training and access to materials and workshops and that this is a volunteer position without monetary compensation. Cast positions are limited, and auditioning does not guarantee you a spot in the cast or any cast show. Volunteers are not employees of the Maine Renaissance Faire and the Maine Renaissance Faire has the right to dismiss anyone that is not keeping in the spirit of the family friendly atmosphere of our event. The Maine Renaissance Faire does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status or sexual orientation.
