message Assist in set up activities such as bringing supplies to vendors, setting up tables and chairs, hanging banners, putting out trash stations, etc.

message Help ensure cooks have supplies, help gather and deliver chili samples for judges, etc.

message Assist in various tasks as needed: providing information and direction at the main gate, assiting at the general information booths, running supplies, providing breaks for Green Team volunteers or other volunteers, picking up lunch, etc.

message Monitor the event front entrances (gates) to ensure attendees do not enter before the event start time vendors will be coming and going to set up). Once the event opens, provide guests with the event map, information, and answer questions.

message Help serve chili at stations in need of additional staff.

message Green Team volunteers will receive a $100 visa gift card, event t-shirt, and lunch as a thank you for serving in this very important role. Help support the Town's zero-waste efforts by educating and guiding attendees regarding where to place compost, trash and recycle items. This is mostly a hands-off assignment; pickers will be provided if sorting is needed. Volunteers must arrive at 1:30pm for a brief training session and work the full shift until 6pm. Breaks will be provided throughout the event by additional volunteers and staff. Green Team volunteers also receive a special green-team t-shirt.

message Help set up and keep the water flowing for attendees and oversee the use of reusable water cups. This is a job in the shade where sitting is an option if needed.
