About the event

Join in or watch from the side as Superior hosts a red, white and blue 4th of July parade, bringing the community together in a spirited procession of floats, marching bands and cheerful participants. Follow the parade to the fun filled festival and free pancakes! The festival will feature circus themed fun for kids and adults, local vendors hosting fun activities, bouncy houses and more. Keep the celebration going! Head over to the Superior Community Center for live music ,delicious eats and cool treats.

About the application

Join the behind the scenes fun of making Superior's 4th of July Festival come to life! You can choose from a list of various tasks that best suit your schedule and abilities. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt, food voucher, and access to snacks/water.

Assist with coordinating the flow of traffic as vendors enter the event, unload and find parking. This can be a fast-paced position requiring patience and thick skin! Must be 18+
Parade Monitors	Pitkin and Rock Creek Pkwy.	Jul 04, 2025 7:30 am - 10:00 am	10	3
Parade Monitors will help coordinate parade entry lineup with staff, then walk at various stages of the parade to ensure safety for participants and spectators. The parade route is just over 1 mile at less than 5pmh.

Assist with monitoring gates and ensuring attendees do not have access to festival until the event opens at 9am. Gate monitors will also provide attendees with information and answer questions. Must be 18+

Assist with setting up various event stations: putting up banners and decorations; setting out tables, table clothes and chairs; setting up trash/recycle stations, assembling kid games, helping vendors set up their pancake stations, etc.

Assist our food trucks and caterers serve pancakes using proper food handling and customer service etiquette.

Operate the selling of event merchandise and provide information for event goers. All supplies and information will be provided to you for your convivence!

Ready and able to assist with various tasks that may come up. I.e. assistance with vendor set up, delivering supplies to various parts of the event, clean up, event information assistance, etc.

Assist with the monitoring of the Historical Firetruck and keeping are Historical Truck safe.

Help take down banners and decorations, remove table clothes and clean up seating area, disassemble games, pick up supplies, assist vendors with loading out their supplies, etc.
