About the application

Volunteer to be a Celeb Handler at Carolina Fear Fest. Handlers are assigned a celebrity guest and assist them throughout the weekend at the venue. Work scope includes handling money/sales, tracking sales, assisting with attendee interactions (selfies etc) and ensuring guests stay on schedule for planned activities. Those not selected for this position will be assigned into the general Reaper volunteer pool and work various jobs throughout the con including Front End Tickets/Check-in, Door Security and more! Handlers are expected to be available during all show hours Friday -Sunday. Everyone will be REQUIRED to attend an advance safety and info meeting before the event kicks off! All volunteers must have a felony-free background, agree to be sober & drug free during event and agree to follow any/all COVID policies in place at event start. Handlers will be allowed access to the green room for snacks. A stipend will be paid to our handlers of $250 for the weekend to offset hotel and other fees as they are expected to be available for the whole weekend.

Terms & Conditions

Agree to follow all COVID policies in place at time of event. To include mask-wearing and staying home if symptomatic or recent exposure. Agree to attend pre-event safety and info meeting to obtain all event instructions and expectations.
