These terms and conditions ("Terms") constitute an agreement between volunteers ("Volunteers") and the Eagle Mountain Chamber of Commerce ("Event Organizer") for the provision of volunteer services at ShopFest Utah 2024 (the "Event"). Volunteers must meet the following eligibility criteria to participate in the Event: Volunteers must be at least 13 years old, unless okayed by the Event Staff no later than one week before the event. Volunteers must complete the volunteer application process, which may include providing personal information and references. Volunteers must be able to commit to the specified volunteer shifts and responsibilities. Volunteers shall perform their assigned tasks and responsibilities diligently, professionally, and to the best of their abilities. Volunteers shall adhere to the Event's code of conduct and policies, treating all Event participants, attendees, and fellow volunteers with respect and courtesy. Volunteers shall report promptly to their assigned shift location and follow the directions of their designated Volunteer Coordinator or Event Organizer representative. Volunteers shall commit to specific shifts and responsibilities as communicated by the Event Organizer. Volunteers shall arrive on time for their shifts and complete them as scheduled. If a Volunteer is unable to fulfill a scheduled shift, they must notify the Volunteer Coordinator or Event Organizer as soon as possible. Volunteers shall adhere to the Event's dress code, which may include wearing designated volunteer attire or identification badges provided by the Event Organizer. Volunteers may be exposed to confidential or sensitive information during their participation in the Event. Volunteers shall maintain the confidentiality of all such information and not disclose it to any unauthorized parties. Volunteers understand and acknowledge that participation in the Event involves certain risks. Volunteers agree to release and hold harmless the Event Organizer and its agents, representatives, and partners from any liability for any injury or loss that may occur during their participation in the Event. Volunteers grant permission for their likeness and images to be used in Event-related photographs, videos, or promotional materials. The Event Organizer reserves the right to terminate a Volunteer's status at any time and for any reason, including failure to comply with these Terms or engage in behavior deemed disruptive or harmful to the Event. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah. By participating as a Volunteer at ShopFest Utah 2024, Volunteers acknowledge and agree to these Terms and agree to abide by all Event policies and guidelines.
