About the event

Superior’s annual Arbor Day celebration on Saturday, April 26th from 10 a.m. - noon. This is a FREE, family-friendly event for all ages, focused on promoting and supporting environmental sustainability. "Green"-focused entertainment and educational opportunities will be plentiful. .

About the application

Volunteers will have several opportunities to participate: Set-Up from 9 to 10AM Take Down from Noon to 1 PM Full Event help from 9:00 AM - 1 PM We are also seeking volunteers and local youth groups to help with our expanded tree-planting projects from 11 to 11:30AM. We will plant multiple trees at several locations in Purple Park; learn proper planting, watering, mulching, and staking techniques. Volunteer t-shirts are available (if you don't already have one). Volunteers will also receive a food/beverage voucher from Vento Coffee. Youth under the age of 13 are welcome with an adult.

Volunteers will help run supplies, monitor recycle/waste stations, ensure vendors have supplies, etc. Several volunteers may be needed to help with the tree-planting volunteer projects.

Volunteer for this year's expanded tree-planting experience. Volunteers will help backfill, fuetilize, and stake as new trees are planted. Educational information, specific to successful tree planting in our area will be provided throughout the project.
