About the event

Where Every Fan Finds Their Place PopCon was founded to celebrate all aspects of pop culture, rather than just hyper focusing on a specific genre. We have a wide variety of interests – just like our fans – so we created a con to celebrate them all in one awesome weekend.

About the application

When creating a profile images need to be 1200 x 800 pixels or smaller. Handlers are the face of PopCon to the celebrity guest. They also act as the liaison between the celebrity guest and the attendees. You will be expected to be in business casual attire (No graphic Tees. No ripped or holey jeans/pants) during each of your shifts. You will be in charge on money coming in and will track what the guest sells. You will insure the guest is at their appearances on time. We prefer all handlers to work all three days of the show. There is a mandatory meeting with Mark, Carrie, Jessica, and I on Friday of the show. Generally, this meeting is at 10am at a nearby hotel.

Terms & Conditions

Give a Day, Get a Day - We understand you are volunteering because you are a fan of the con. We also understand that you are stuck at a table each day and are not able to go out and enjoy the show. You will be able to get a single three-day pass or a wristband for each day you work to give to your friends and family to use. Simply give Les their information and the pass or wrist bands will be available for pick up at the volunteer lounge 231. Food - You will be given per diem each day you work as a guest handler.
