About the event

Save the Date for 2022! February 5 & 6, 2022! ArtFest Fort Myers is Southwest Florida's Premier Art Festival on the first weekend in February. ArtFest enlivens the Fort Myers waterfront with exceptional art, entertainment and children’s art activities. Join the Team and volunteer with ArtFest, Friends, and the Community! When registering to Volunteer for a position with ArtFest Fort Myers each volunteer agrees to comply with all rules and all health and safety guidelines communicated to them by ArtFest Fort Myers. These include but are not limited to the following: 1. “Social distancing” must be practiced. 2. Face coverings must be worn at all times. 3. Gloves may be required for some assignments. 4. Daily health screening which may include answering the standard COVID questions and temperature check. 5. Volunteer will not come to ArtFest Fort Myers if: - they have tested positive for COVID in 14 days before ArtFest Fort Myers - they have been in contact with anyone who tested positive for COVID in the 14 days before ArtFest Fort Myers - they have any COVID symptoms such as fever/chills; cough; difficulty breathing; fatigue; headache; loss of taste or smell; sore throat; congestion; nausea/vomiting/diarrhea - they have traveled outside US in 14 days before ArtFest Fort Myers

Terms & Conditions

COVID-19 SAFETY INFORMATION: Any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COIVD-19, despite additional precautions in place to mitigate this risk, we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during the event. The process of registration for a volunteer position at ArtFest Fort Myers means that volunteer hereby agrees to comply with all rules and all health and safety guidelines which are communicated to them while participating in events held or sponsored by ArtFest Fort Myers, Inc. including but not limited to: 1. “Social distancing” must be practiced. 2. In consideration of my desire to serve as a volunteer at ArtFest Fort Myers I hereby assume all responsibility for any and all risk arising out of or in conjunction with this event. I acknowledge that risks include, but are not limited to, property damage, bodily injury, weather conditions, contact with other participants including all risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19 and use of equipment and facilities of ArtFest Fort Myers, Inc. or its suppliers. Further, I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, videos, or other records of this event for any legitimate or promotional purpose without compensation to me. I also grant permission to ArtFest Fort Myers, Inc to send email, text or phone messages regarding any necessary weekend festival information. I currently have no known mental or physical condition that would impair my capability for full participation as intended or expected of me. I have carefully read the foregoing release and indemnification and understand the contents thereof and sign this release as my own, free act. I expressly agree that this release, waiver and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the State of Florida, and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect. I acknowledge that I am over the age of 18, or the legal guardian of the volunteer under the age of 18. And if I am under the age of 18, I acknowledge that my parent or legal guardian has approved my volunteer registration and waiver of liability. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, I, for myself and my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, hereby release, waive and discharge ArtFest Fort Myers Inc. and the City of Fort Myers their respective Board of Directors, officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers and sponsors from all claims or liability of any kind arising out of my participation in ArtFest Fort Myers even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
