About the event

2024 Halloween Boo Bash Saturday, Oct. 19 | 11:00 am-2 pm Downtown Wake Forest The Halloween Boo Bash presented by Capital Chevrolet is a free, family-oriented festival for children ages 12 and younger. This year’s festivities will include inflatable slides, food trucks and a variety of other ghostly games and activities. Costumes are optional, but best costumes may be featured on the Town website and social media pages.

About the application

Boo Bash is a wonderful occasion where we come together to create smiles and lasting memories for the children in our town. To ensure the event runs smoothly and is as enjoyable as possible for everyone, we need your help! We are looking for volunteers to assist in various roles such as greeters, crowd managers, game helpers, etc... Family friendly costumes are optional but highly encouraged as they add to the festive spirit of the day. If you can spare some time to volunteer, please consider signing up for a shift. We kindly ask volunteers to arrive by 10:00 am to help with setup and preparations. Even if you can only join us for part of the event, we would greatly appreciate your support.

Terms & Conditions

Part-time employees o You will paid for the hours worked at regular rate. If you exceed 40 hours for that given week, you will receive overtime. o Please add Boo Bash to the comment section of your timesheet Full-time employees o You will paid for the hours worked at regular rate. If you exceed 40 hours for that given week, you will receive overtime. o If you use sick or vacation (3/17-3/23), that will negate the overtime. o Please add Boo Bash to the comment section of your timesheet Another option is flex time – in other words if you sign up to help with this event, you may come in later or leave early sometime within the two-week pay period. Keep in mind, this is between you and your direct supervisor taking into consideration coverage and respective workload. Exempt employees only have the option to flex time within the two-week period.
