About the event

Although the festival is FREE (donations are totally welcome!), we kindly ask you to swing by tinyurl.com/mbjazzfest to snag your general admission tickets. It’s not a must, but it sure helps us gather some snazzy data. A portion of the funds raised from these donations will aid victims of Hurricane Helene through Samaritan's Purse. Festival Prohibit Items: Weapons and explosives: Firearms, knives, tasers, pepper spray, and other weapons Drugs and drug paraphernalia: Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and nitrous oxide Outside food and drinks: Alcohol, food, and drinks, including unopened water bottles Professional equipment: Professional cameras, video equipment, and audio recording equipment Tents and canopies: Tents, canopies, and shade structures Personal vehicles: Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, wagons, carts, and other personal motorized vehicles Unauthorized items: Unauthorized soliciting, advertising, handbills, posters, product sampling, giveaways, and unauthorized vendors Animals: Pets, except service animals Glass: Glass containers and glass of any kind Other prohibited items: Fireworks, kites, coolers, laser pointers, backpacks, and framed backpacks We search bags for contraband, and may deny entry to anyone or item we deem dangerous

Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions I understand and agree that the following terms and conditions outlined in this document apply to me. I also agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival, its partners, vendors, sponsors, affiliates, designees, organizers, associates, and board members from any and all claims which are brought by, or on my behalf, and which are in any way connected with my participation in the festival. I, the party involved, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival Code of Conduct and Crossroads Event Productions policies and procedures that are posted or recorded. 2. I understand and agree that the Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival policies and procedures, and the terms and conditions of participation set out in the volunteer guidelines are always effective and apply to me when present in and around the Event venue. 3. I acknowledge and agree that the completion and submitting of the Volunteer application, or acceptance of event volunteer t-shirt, badge, or other form of admission issued by The Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival constitutes acceptance of agreement to the following: (a) Releases the Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right, or any claim or cause of action of any kind. (b) Authorizes and permits The Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival and its designees to use my name, voice, and likeness and all reproduction thereof in all media now and hereafter known for all purposes in infinity. (c) Agrees to comply with all festival rules and regulations. 4. I understand that the festival in which I will participate is of a voluntary nature. I further understand that some of the volunteer assignments involve physical activities, including but not limited to lifting light weight items, walking, attaching / assembling event banners and signage, and assembling event tents and may be inherently dangerous and may carry the rise of serious or grievous injuries, including bodily injury, damage to personal property and/or death. I understand the nature of the volunteer assignment, represent that I am qualified, and have no health problems, medical issues, or disabilities that would not allow me to participate in such volunteer assignments. 5. Should it be necessary for the me to receive medical care while participating as a Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival Volunteer member, I give the the Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival personnel permission to use reasonable discretion in obtaining medical care for me, and grant permission to any physician or other qualified medical providers, including but not limited to nurses and ambulance personnel to render whatever medical care they deem necessary & that all charges for services, equipment, and supplies incurred for such treatment shall be my sole responsibility, and agree to pay for all that was associated with rendering medical care to me.
