About the event

The City of Lawrenceville will host a special Prelude to the Fourth Fireworks Spectacular show honoring Independence Day on Wednesday July 3rd at the Lawrenceville Lawn. An evening of fun for the whole family starts at 5:00 pm!! This year's event will be jammed packed with all kinds of fun. You'll be able to find something for the whole family from interactive activities to musical performances. Plenty of food vendors to satisfy any appetite and unique local shops to frequent in the downtown square. The spectacular fireworks display will begin at 9:30 PM!

About the application

Volunteers will arrive at Prelude to assist the Events Team in various activities such as, but not limited to, load-in, check-in assistance, beautification, sanitization, and much more. Please join us this year, as we are in search of incredible volunteers to ensure a successful event in our community. Volunteers will receive T-shirts for their assistance, but sizes are limited. Volunteers must be registered in order to volunteer! To ensure safety, volunteers must adhere to guidelines placed by the city, guidelines which include the wearing of the mask at all times, temperature checks prior to the shift, & the proper use of gloves onsite.
