About the application

Our mission is simple: to provide a free, family-friendly, multi-genre, live music event to support local artisans, businesses and musicians while bringing people together through music. Whether you're a music enthusiast or just someone eager to contribute to an exciting community event,as a volunteer you'll play a crucial role in bringing the festival to life and ensuring its success. There are many opportunities, from greeting guests to assisting with setup and everything in between. No matter your skill set or availability, there's a spot for you! VOLUNTEER POSITIONS ARE: Greeter Alcohol Monitor Recycle and Trash ID Attendant Set-up & Tear Down Festival tent, retail SET-UP & TEAR DOWN: KNOW BEFORE YOU GO On Friday afternoon - help setting up tents, hanging up sponsor banners, placing tables, chairs, recycle kits, etc. On Saturday night - help taking it all down. (This position does NOT involve any set up or tear down of stage or sound equipment).

Terms & Conditions

All volunteers receive a coveted Sherwood Music Festival t-shirt, bottled water and a meal ticket. On Friday, you'll help set up tents, hang banners, tables, chairs etc. On Saturday night you'll help take it all down. This is a rain or shine event so come prepared! Regardless of weather, we ask for your commitment to your shift and prompt notification via text if an emergency arises.

message Our set-up and tear-down volunteers are INVALUABLE!! If you can lift, carry, bend and set, you're qualified! You'll receive a festival shirt, water bottles and a meal ticket. This position involves helping unload vehicles then putting up tents, hanging sponsor banners, assembling recycle kits, placing tables, chairs, umbrellas, cones and parking signs. It does not involve any set-up or tear-down related to stage or sound. We are beyond grateful for those to sign up for set-up and tear-down, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering it.

message When it comes to tear-down, many hands make quick work, and we can use all the help we can get. It involves taking down tents, banners, parking signs, collecting tables, chairs & umbrellas, disassembling recycle kits and loading into vehicles.
