Terms & Conditions

Requirement: • I've previously performed three times of volunteer work at the ACC. • Attended a lead training session at the beginning of every month. • Has received a notification from ACC staff. Volunteering Volunteer Ethics Code: Avalon Park Art and Culture Center As long as the interest is related to the ACC, volunteers serve the public interest. Volunteers believe they are responsible to both the general public and the ACC. Each volunteer acknowledges that his or her personal time and attention must be given to the activities of the ACC in order to effectively perform duties to the public and to the ACC. They also comprehend and respect the documents that establish and control the ACC. The volunteer is in no way exempt from adhering to the standards that are applicable to ACC personnel since they received no tangible compensation for their services on behalf of the organization. The ACC has the right to ask a volunteer to resign from his or her volunteer status if the volunteer's actions or performance in any way are deemed inappropriate. Every aspect of the operation and management of the program must be kept confidential by the volunteer. The anonymity of their assignment, as well as the importance and integrity of the collections, must be respected by volunteers who have access to the ACC collections, research, staff activities, or related information. Volunteers must only use the ACC property in ways that have been approved by the ACC. Volunteers are not permitted to use the ACC's mailing supplies or equipment for non-ACC purposes. Volunteers are not permitted to remove any artwork or items from the ACC wall for use privately in their homes or elsewhere for pleasure, decorating, or other purposes, unless a consumer has made a purchase of the artwork or item. Volunteer Agreement: • Volunteering should be regarded as a significant professional commitment, and the position should be valued and respected. • Maintain a suitable and respectable image of the ACC at all times. • Be aware of and abide by the ACC Volunteer Ethics Code. • To maintain and improve competency in the assigned activities, attend orientation and training courses as scheduled and engage in continuing education as offered. • When interacting with other volunteers and the ACC Staff, behave like a team member. • Observe the job description and consent to supervision. • Be trustworthy and on time when reporting for work, and fulfill all promises. • If unable to perform the scheduled shift(s) due to illness or any unforeseen circumstance, please notify the relevant staff member as soon as feasible. 407-685-6565 ext. 141. Or email Marketing@AvalonParkGroup.com. • To ensure proper hours, sign in and out consistently. • Dress appropriately for the position you have been given. 11. To remedy any issues, speak with the proper ACC personnel. • Any illnesses or injuries should be reported right away to your manager. Dial 911 if you are hurt or having a seizure. While clearing the area of onlookers and objects that could hurt the patient, do not move the patient. Avoid touching blood, vomit, and bodily fluids at all costs. • Holds Avalon Park Art And Culture Center harmless and agrees not to hold it liable for any injury or disease. • Before discontinuing employment, provide the ACC Staff sufficient notice. • The volunteer is aware of the hazards involved in joining the volunteer program and consents to taking those risks for themselves and their families. Additionally, the volunteer commits to participate in the volunteer programs and accept the risks to themselves and their families. The volunteer also consents to follow the safety regulations established by ACC. The volunteer must notify ACC as soon as possible if they experience COVID-19 symptoms, including a temperature of 100.4°F or higher, a cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell. Local health officials and staff will be informed right away while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and other relevant federal and state privacy laws.
