message Assistance with the Setup of Décor, tents, tables/chairs, hay bale maze, pumpkin patch and any other items that need to be set the day before.

message Event Survey Position Duties: • Volunteers will be needed to help recruit attendees to take a survey to be placed in a drawing to win a prize. The survey benefits the city of Aurora by providing us useful data from patrons. 
 • Assist survey staff with soliciting patrons to participate 
 • Assist survey staff operating iPads and answering questions on how to complete survey 
 • Provide event information to patrons 
 • Provide customer service

message Duties: • Volunteers will be needed to fill in where we have needs. We appreciate flexibility with this position as we may not know your assignment until the day of the event. 
 • Hand out event flyers 
 • Relieve volunteers at various locations for 
breaks/lunch 
 • Provide snacks/water to volunteers as needed 
 • Fill in certain positions where additional volunteer 
presence may be required 
 • Answer event related questions 
 • Provide great customer service

message Pumpkin Patch Position Duties: • Maintain flow of traffic into and out of patch by standing at the entrance/exit point. Make sure that people do not leave via the entrance with a pumpkin that they have not paid for. 
 • Provide wagons if patrons need them to 
haul the pumpkins to their cars (make sure you go with them so you can return the wagon to the patch). 


message Volunteer Headquarters Position Duties: • Check-in volunteers for their shift
 • Have volunteers complete a Volunteer Agreement if they have not already signed one or registered as a city of Aurora Volunteer online
 • Inform volunteers of volunteer assignment • Offer water and snacks to volunteers
 • Keep area clean and tidy
 • Call/locate Emily Bennett if needed 720-422-2762 • Materials will be provided at Volunteer Headquarters
 • Show Volunteers when/where lunch will be located
