• Are you a previous Crew Member / returning volunteer?

• Will you be 18 years or older by the first day of the event? (NOTE: a valid photo ID must be presented on-site at the venue)
• This event will occur July 26th – 28th with some pre-production assistance the preceding days: Wednesday, July 24th and Thursday, July 25th. What is your general availability?
• Will you be available Thursday, July 25th for set-up / pre-production duties? (Usually between 10am - 10pm CST)
• Will you be available Wednesday, July 24th for set-up / pre-production duties? (Time TBD)
• All volunteer crew members should expect to commit to a baseline two-day mandatory schedule of A) Thursday and Saturday or B) Friday and Sunday. Additions and deviations will be issue based on operational need at the event leadership's discretion.
• Are you aware Dream Con does not guarantee any complimentary accommodations?
• Due to the nature of this commitment, participation in certain programming such as contests, tournaments, meet and greets or other high-demand activities may be exceedingly limited. Selected crew members should contact the crew manager upon acceptance to discuss their options.
• If you have already purchased a badge please note Dream Con does not offer refunds for selected crew members. Please speak with one of the crew managers directly via email or during an orientation meeting to assess if any options are available.

• Do you have any friends, family or other acquaintances applying for the volunteer crew? Be advised the leadership does not select crew members based on their affiliation with other individuals but their skills/expertise in relation to the general pool of applicants and contingent upon operational need. One person's confirmation (or dismissal) does not inherently dictate another. The leadership cannot guarantee crew members with pre-existing relationships will work together directly in the same department at the same time but will take such factors into consideration and make an effort. NOTE: For optimal consideration, the recruitment team recommends persons with pre-existing relationships that would like to be scheduled together submit their respective applications at the same time, within three (3) days of each of other's submission, or at the very least in the same applicant wave.

• In accordance with the Dream Con health and safety policies, COVID vaccinations and masking are no longer required but recommended at individual discretion. Be advised these protocol are subject to change as current events develop and governing offices release updated information or guidelines.
• Dream Con proudly selects and supports crew members that possess a diverse range of professional and personal skills/affiliations within a variety of communities and industries. While the leadership permits certain degrees of flexibility, all volunteer crew members understand and will commit to the prioritization of Dream Con on-site event activations. Third-party personal and professional commitments, interest, and affiliations that disrupt or compromise organizational efficacy are not acceptable and may be grounds for dismissal. These commitments and affiliations include but are not limited to businesses, talent, collectives, and other entities engaged directly or indirectly with official Dream Con partnerships and collaborations. Incidents may result in counseling, corrective action, or dismissal.

• Due to the volume of submissions, only selected candidates will receive follow-up correspondence which is issued on a rolling basis. The submission of an application does not guarantee program acceptance or event admission. All applicants that are not selected are encouraged to apply again in the future .
• NOTE: the forthcoming penultimate "Departments" screen of this application before submission will display six (6) areas of interest. Be advised these are only condensed, simplified groups that utilize similar skillsets. Accepted applicants will be able to communicate interest in specific departments and roles at a later time.
