Our volunteer shifts for the 2023 Twin Cities Pride March are available below. We have many opportunities, including opportunities for large groups to volunteer together! All volunteers will receive a T-shirt, swag bag, as well as a free meal available after the march is finished!

Terms & Conditions

I affirm and support the mission of Twin Cities Pride and the history of and purpose for holding a pride festival: Twin Cities Pride seeks to empower every LGBTQ+ person to live as their true self and to create a future where all LGBTQ+ people are valued and celebrated for who they are. The Pride celebration commemorates and continues the fight against discrimination and the struggle for equality, for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer persons and their families. Violations of Twin Cities Pride rules and regulations may result in exclusion from participation, both during the event and in following years.

Volunteers will help with set up for the parade- this will include frequent moving, lifting, walking, etc. Volunteers will meet at Loring Park and will be shuttled to the parade route.
March Staging Volunteers	3rd St & Hennepin Ave	Jun 25, 2023 8:30 am - 1:30 pm	13	5
Volunteers will assist in getting march units in numerical order, and will move with the units while on the parade route, keeping their assigned units flowing smoothly and notifying Pride staff of any issues. Volunteers in this position must be able to walk the entire march route. Please meet at Volunteer Check-in at Loring park, you will be shuttled to your location on the march route.
Parade Route Monitors	Hennepin Ave	Jun 25, 2023 8:30 am - 1:30 pm	17	5
Volunteers will be placed in strategic spots along the march route to monitor intersections, answer questions, and notify Pride staff of any issues. Volunteers will meet at Volunteer Check-in at Loring Park and be directed/shuttled to your locations.
Bleachers/ADA Area Volunteer	9th Street & Hennepin Ave	Jun 25, 2023 9:00 am - 1:00 pm	0	4
This volunteer will act as a greeter to all who are entering the bleachers, and will direct people who need wheelchair/special mobility seating. They will also monitor the bleachers during the march and will notify Pride staff if any issues arise. This position will meet at Volunteer Check-in at Loring park, and will be shuttled to their location on the March Route.
End of Route Monitors	Hennepin Ave & Spruce St	Jun 25, 2023 11:00 am - 1:30 pm	0	3
Volunteers will be holding signs directing walking/marching units to turn onto spruce, while directing vehicles and floats to continue straight onto Hennepin to break down/continue out. Volunteers in this position should meet at Volunteer Check-in at Loring Park, you will be shuttled to your destination.
