About the application

Our volunteer shifts for the 2023 Twin Cities Pride Festival are available below. We have opportunities available for pre event set up, post event clean up, and lots of options during the festival itself. Take a look and find something that aligns with your experience and interests, or try something new! Please only sign up for one shift at a time. If you would like to sign up for more then one shift, please ensure they do not have any overlap (unless you are signing up for back to back shifts in the same department.) All volunteers will receive a T-shirt, swag bag, as well as a free meal during their shift!

The Pride celebration commemorates and continues the fight against discrimination and the struggle for equality, for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer persons and their families. Violations of Twin Cities Pride rules and regulations may result in exclusion from participation, both during the event and in following years.

Guides are stationed at the designated entry points to the park for vehicles that are loading in for the event. Volunteers will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are entering the park in the right location, and will also help ensure that vehicle traffic is flowing through the park efficiently. Guides will also be asked to help direct vendors to the appropriate vendor check in location.

**This position will require in person training on Wednesday... Time TBD. Lead volunteers who will coordinate the food vendor load in process, working directly with our operations/logistics team.

Answer questions about vendor status, handle payment questions or new charges that need to be assessed, complete any data entry and manage any fulfillment of deliverables for vendors and sponsors. Be a point of contact and information for vendor and sponsor questions and fulfillment of our agreements with them.

*This position requires you attend a training session on Wednesday, 6/21. Time TBD* This team will provide food vendors with their POS (cash register) systems, assist vendors with POS system setup, and escalate any technical issues to the IT team.
