About the event

Small-town Americana invites you to enjoy 425+ food and craft booths, live entertainment, contests and games. Come experience a family-friendly event over a three-day weekend in the heart of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, rooted deep in tradition. 57 years strong, the biggest highlight is stirring apple butter in old copper kettles on the courthouse lawn to pay homage to the festival founders. Admission is free, and we have the largest parade in southwest Missouri, wiener dog races, and a fun outdoor shopping experience that will keep you coming back year after year.

About the application

Please fill out information thoroughly. Drivers must be 18 years old or older and must have a valid driver's license. Report to the Info Booth at the beginning of the shift and return shuttles to their designated location on Hickory Street when shift is complete. Responsibilities include driving people between their vehicles and the festival grounds.
