About the event

Celebrate Lunar New Year with cultural performances, traditional food, local vendors, and kids’ activities on Saturday, Jan. 21 from 1-4 p.m. at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater inside Newtown Park. The City of Johns Creek’s Lunar New Year celebration is a family-friendly event that embraces cultural diversity in our community. Commonly known as the Spring Festival in East Asia, Lunar New Year commemorates the beginning of a new year on the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. *No pets are allowed at this event.

About the application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Johns Creek Lunar New Year Celebration. Please complete and submit this application to volunteer at the festival. There are many ways to be involved with the festival, from set-up to tear-down. You can work with Stage Management, Vendor Management or wherever needed!

Terms & Conditions

A signed waiver must be submitted to the City of Johns Creek prior to the date of the event. Please email it to stacey.gross@johnscreekga.gov. Volunteer must be 14 years of age or older. If under 14, volunteer must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.
