A coastal favorite, the Jekyll Island Shrimp & Grits Festival combines the classic southern dish with family-friendly entertainment, artists market, live music, kids’ zone, food, a craft brew fest, and more. Mark your calendars for this award-winning three-day event held the first weekend in November in the Historic District of Jekyll Island, Georgia. 2022 Festival Schedule Friday, November 4: 4;00 - 9:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5: 10:00 a.m.- 9:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

About the application

Craft Brew Tasting Assistant may be assigned to pour samples of craft brew, monitor the floor, or check ID's for Craft Brew Fest. Must be 21 years or older *Must be able to stand for long periods. Volunteer Perks: • One T-Shirt • One Event Hang tag for parking close to the festival and free island entrance for the day of shift ONLY • Hang tags, parking instructions and a festival map will be mailed prior to the event. Shirts will be picked up first day of volunteering at the Information/Volunteer Tent. • Dinner for volunteers working during the 6:00 pm shift on Friday & Saturday nights • Lunch for volunteers working during the 12:00 pm shift on Saturday & Sunday

  • T-Shirt Size (Guarantee shirt/size date is Sept. 16. Shirts will be available but sizes are not guaranteed after this date)
  • Dietary Restrictions - Every effort will be made to accommodate dietary needs but cannot be guaranteed. Be aware each meal will have a different boxed lunch consisting of a sandwich or wrap served with chips, piece of fruit and a cookie. Water, PowerAde, and Soda will be available throughout all shifts.
