As a volunteer, you will receive an NC Fossil Festival Volunteer t-shirt, a 2022 NC Fossil Festival t-shirt, and a food voucher. Please read all the information below before beginning your application. As a volunteer, you are responsible for understanding all terms and conditions. By submitting your application, you agree to all North Carolina Fossil Festival Terms and Conditions. -- Applying does not guarantee acceptance into the festival. -- Only applications submitted through this webpage will be accepted. -- Applications received by mail or email will automatically be rejected. -- A committee selects applicants by volunteer application only. -- Incomplete applications will not be considered. -- Applications missing photos will not be considered. -- Applications are due by 6 pm EST on May 06, 2022. -- Volunteers will be notified via email of the decision. -- Additional information will not be supplied between submission of and decision. -- Approved volunteers will receive information concerning event information and check-in times following the approval email. By submitting this application, I agree to hold the Aurora Fossil Museum Foundation, Inc., the Town of Aurora, and the North Carolina Fossil Festival harmless for any injury or loss to any person, equipment, property, or goods for any cause whatsoever. I also agree that the stated organizations cannot be held responsible for any claims for damage, injury, or loss arising from or in connection with using the space or grounds during the North Carolina Fossil Festival in Aurora. Volunteers not adhering to the terms and conditions will be asked to leave festival area and will not be allowed to participate in future Fossil Festivals.
