What this slot is: A 20-minute visibility appearance in one of three general fair locations - Grid 1, Grid 2, or Grid 3. Each grid is an open, approximately 15-foot area on the street fair footprint. Grids are not tied to a specific activity type - rope, impact play, pup/handler presence, bootblacking, fetish characters, titleholder appearances, education, performance, or general Leather community representation are all welcome in any grid.
Time commitment: 20 minutes, starting and ending on time so the next scheduled participant can begin. Arrive a few minutes early to set up.
What to expect: You'll be assigned a specific grid (1, 2, or 3) and a specific 20-minute window for this rotation. This is one of your three total rotations, which do not need to be back-to-back.
You may move within your assigned grid area as appropriate to your activity, but should stay within its boundaries so neighboring grids and general fair traffic aren't disrupted.
The two go-go/platform stands on site may be used within your grid if needed, but are not separate assigned locations.
This is a street-fair visibility space, not the Main Stage. No dedicated power, sound, or staging is provided here. If your activity needs electricity, sound, or theatrical production, note that in your signup so organizers can consider you for a Main Stage special assignment instead (not guaranteed, and it would replace rather than add to your three rotations).
Requirements to bring/arrange yourself: Any personal equipment for your activity (rope, impact tools, costuming, signage, etc.) - organizers do not supply demonstration equipment. Any safety gear or spotting/monitoring appropriate to your activity. A plan to pack up and clear the grid promptly at the end of your 20 minutes for the next participant.
On-site conduct: Follow all event rules and any direction from event staff or safety monitors. Keep demonstrations appropriate for a public street-fair setting (this is a visibility/representation space, not a private scene space). Report any safety concerns to event staff immediately.
Not included in this slot: Your one-hour Leather Archives & Museum fundraising assignment is scheduled separately and does not take place during your grid rotation.
