Get ready for a spooktacular afternoon in Downtown Bastrop! Boo Bash is Bastrop's Halloween celebration filled with costumes, trick-or-treating, activities, and plenty of Halloween fun for the whole family. Bring the kids, put on your best costume, and spend Halloween exploring Downtown Bastrop! Families can explore Main Street and Spring Street while collecting treats and discovering Halloween surprises throughout downtown. Local businesses will join in the fun, giving you even more reasons to explore Downtown Bastrop during Boo Bash. Join us on October 31, 2026, from 2:00–6:00 PM for a free afternoon of scary, sweet fun!

About the application

The City of Bastrop is looking for volunteers for our annual Boo Bash Celebration! Browse the shifts and tasks available and submit your application! Any questions, reach out to Marco at molivares@cityofbastrop.org.

Terms & Conditions

By participating as a volunteer, you hereby release and forever discharge the City of Bastrop from any and all liability for any physical or psychological injury, including but not limited to illness, injury, paralysis, damages, economic or emotional loss, that you may suffer as a direct or indirect result of your participation as a volunteer. By volunteering, you hereby, for yourself, your heirs, executors, and assigns, knowingly and voluntarily waive and release the City of Bastrop and its officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability and waive all rights, claims, or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of or related to your participation as a volunteer or your presence on City property. You understand and agree that by signing this waiver, you voluntarily give up or waive any right to bring legal action against the City of Bastrop for personal injury, illness, death, or property damage resulting from your participation as a volunteer.
