About the event

The Great Basin Fiber Arts Fair is a non-profit organization that promotes the fiber arts as historical and thriving art forms. We want to share our love of fiber arts with you. Our friends from the fiber community will join us to demo and teach a variety of classes about knitting, spinning, crochet, felting, dyeing, weaving, rug making, and other fiber arts. Many friends who have fiber animals vend at the Fair and spread the word about the wonders of their particular animals and the fiber they produce. Other vendors sell tools and other handy items for all types of fiber arts as well as many finished goods. Join us for shopping, watching the demonstrations, learning something new at one of our amazing workshops, and attending the fiber-after-party on Friday night. There is so much to enjoy! Parking and entrance to the fair are FREE!

About the application

Welcome to the Great Basin Fiber Arts Fair! We are excited that you wish to volunteer. We have lots of opportunities where you can help us at the Fair, so take a look and feel free to sign up for more than one shift.

All volunteering is done at your own risk. We do everything we can to keep everyone safe, but ask you to exercise caution and know your limits before accepting an assignment.
