Savannah Pride 2026

You will be hanging banners and signage, decorating with feather flags, assembling our PRIDE sign, assisting with vendor load-in, setting up the volunteer/staff tent, and more.

This team is specifically working on the Big Tent and the Big Rainbow set up.

Help out wherever it is needed

Provide festival-goers with information about the Savannah Pride Center, including our mission, services and programs offered, resources available in-center and in the community, and how to get involved as a volunteer or business. You will be provided with information on our regular schedule, primary services, Equality Directory, fliers, and stickers. Additional information for upcoming events can always be found on our Instagram @savannahpridecenter and our website savannahpridecenter.org.

Help with Volunteer Check-in. Provide Volunteers with a t-shirt, job card, festival map, and direct them to their station. Make sure they have read their Volunteer Training 2026 packet. Provide Board Members with a badge and lanyard. Facilitate any lost kids waiting for parents (unlikely, but this is the designated spot if this occurs). Hold First Aid Kit. First aid volunteers will be stationed with you. EMS will also be on call. Direct volunteers or other people if asked.

Replace garbage bags, clear tables, pick up litter, and assist people as needed. The dumpster is located in the Park Ave Lot. Trash bags will be located at the volunteer check-in along with posted Maps and Schedules.

Patrons need to visit the Ticket Sales Booth to have their age verified by 100% ID check and receive the appropriate wristband (if they are buying alcohol – no wristbands necessary for non-alcohol/ minors). You will be provided with information on how to use the card reader (this will be a cashless event).Direct patrons to the available bars (you will be given a map that shows which bars are alcohol vs. mocktails/non-alcohol).

Help artists and drag queens as needed. Help people up stairs to the stage if needed. Place items and remove items from the stage for acts if requested (minimal). Make sure acts are running on time with the guidance of the Stage Manager and lead Stage Hands. Schedules will be provided. Make sure the DJ is in the loop and help the DJ, if needed, with load-in and load-out.

Assist with booth/stage tear down, temporary signage/parkingrnrestrictions/cone/barrier removal, and trash clean up. Help load supplies to be returned to the Pride Center into the truck, including tables, chairs, permanent signage, etc. Must be able to lift 30+ lbs.
