About the application

Welcome to the Anime Dallas Volunteer application, we're excited to hear from you! Get ready for a weekend filled with anime, cosplay, gaming, and pop culture fun right in the heart of Frisco, Texas. Anime Dallas brings fans, artists, and creators together for three exciting days of community, creativity, and celebration. Volunteering is a fun way to both enjoy the event as well as earn some cool perks including a Volunteer shirt, free badge, and food! Volunteers are a critical part of every event, from helping our attendees to running our event rooms we're looking to staff many mission critical areas.

Terms & Conditions

You must be 18 years old with a valid ID or drivers license to volunteer. 1/2 day volunteer works 4 hours Receives a 1 day volunteer wristband 1 day volunteer works 6 hours Receives a 1 day volunteer wristband Receives lunch or dinner while on shift A part-time volunteer works a minimum of 16 hours and will receive the following benefits: Volunteer t-shirt Volunteer badge Meals-while on duty only 1 extra 3 day badge for friend or family member A full time volunteer must work a minimum of 24 hours and will receive the following benefits: Volunteer t-shirt Volunteer badge Meals-while on duty only Crash space OR 1 extra 3 day badge and 1 Sunday badge for friend or family member To be eligible for crash space the volunteer must live 25 miles or more from the con location If you plan to take advantage of crash space you will need to be prepared to place a $50 deposit for your room and agree to not charge anything to the room including parking. If you are in crash space you will be in a room with 3-4 other people. There is a mandatory volunteer meeting the Thursday evening prior to the convention. Please plan accordingly. Volunteers are expected to show up on time. Be attentive and communicative.
