Terms & Conditions

1. Volunteer Role I understand that I am serving as a volunteer of my own free will and that I will not receive wages, salary, or employee benefits for my participation. My role, shift times, and duties will be assigned by the event coordinator and may change based on the needs of the event. 2. Code of Conduct I agree to act courteously and professionally toward vendors, guests, fellow volunteers, and staff at all times. I will follow the reasonable instructions of the event coordinator and will not engage in behavior that is unsafe, disruptive, or discriminatory. The event organizers reserve the right to dismiss any volunteer whose conduct is inconsistent with these expectations. 3. Assumption of Risk I understand that volunteering at the event may involve physical activity such as lifting, carrying, standing for extended periods, and working around crowds, tables, and equipment. I confirm that I am physically able to perform the tasks I accept, and I agree to notify the event coordinator of any limitation that may affect my duties. 4. Release of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless the event organizers, its coordinators, sponsors, and venue from any claims, damages, or injuries arising out of my participation as a volunteer, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. 5. Photo & Media Release I understand that photographs and video may be taken during the event, and I grant the event organizers permission to use images in which I appear for promotional purposes, without compensation. 6. Personal Property I understand that the event organizers are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings I bring to the event. 7. Minors Volunteers under the age of 18 must have this form signed by a parent or legal guardian and may be required to volunteer alongside a supervising adult. 8. Cancellation If I am unable to attend my scheduled shift, I agree to notify the event coordinator as soon as possible so a replacement can be arranged.
