message We will be meeting at the Leslie Grove Gallery (1158 Queen St E) assembling the artist packages in preparation for the event. Basic sorting and organizing of some paper documents and other soft materials on envelopes.

message Join us for a fun-filled day of teamwork and creativity as we prepare for our upcoming event! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help map out the layout for our artists' tents using tape and chalk. You’ll be part of a team, where some will focus on cutting and numbering the tape, while others will handle measuring spaces and placing tape at each tent's location. It will involve a bit of walking and bending, so be ready to embrace the great outdoors—just remember, it might get hot or a little wet depending on the weather, so dress comfortably in leisure wear or workout gear. If it is wet, we provide ponchos. As a volunteer, you’ll dive into a variety of fun tasks, from directing artists to their tent locations to keeping an eye on their items while they transport their artwork to their tent locations from the drop off points they are allocated. You may also get to help set up the Artists' Network Information Booth or hand out welcome envelopes to our fabulous artists, not to mention see the art wall come to life in the Information Booth!\r\n\r\nWe make sure you’re fully equipped with all the training you need, plus you’ll receive our famous bright pink baseball cap (you can keep) and you'll wear either an artist apron or a high vis jacket (those you can't keep), depending on your role. \r\n\r\nIt’s going to be a super busy, super fun shift that you won't want to miss!\r\n\r\nDress casually, with comfortable shoes.\r\n\r\nThere is NO lifting required. Did I mention PIZZA!!!!!

You will also assist at the Information Booth. Since this will be a bustling time, be prepared for lots of standing and walking around the venue. We suggest wearing comfortable footwear like sneakers and dressing appropriately for the outdoor weather. You’ll receive one of our signature bright pink caps to help keep the sun at bay.

message This shift is going to be a whirlwind of activity, and you'll be amazed at how quickly the time passes! When you get here, you'll jump right in to support the current team. It's a great chance to stroll the aisles and check in with artists, inviting them to take a little breather from their tents as we prepare for closeout at 8 PM. Once that time rolls around, your main focus will be guiding artists to the storage area and assisting with the dismantling of the art wall that’s part of the Information Booth. Don’t worry, there’s no heavy lifting involved and you'll even get to keep one of our signature bright pink baseball caps as a memento to take home. There's always something to do and we are looking for people who like to keep very busy!
