About the event

Stonewall at Starland Yard" is a vibrant annual celebration dedicated to commemorating the historic Stonewall Riots in 1969 that gave momentum to the LGBTQIA+ rights movement. Attendees can look forward to our annual "So You Think You Can Drag" competition, highlighting local drag artists. The Stonewall Mini Ball will provide an open-to-all experience for attendees to take part in a cornerstone of Queer culture (with cash prizes!). The evening will culminate with music and dance featuring a live DJ. From 2 pm to 10 pm, attendees can enjoy local vendors offering delicious food, drinks, crafts, and more.

About the application

Stonewall at Starland Yard is here, and we are looking for volunteers! Join us for a day of community, awareness, and fun. We are looking for a diverse array of volunteers to fill a variety of positions. Please feel free to sign up for multiple shifts throughout the day. More details are provided upon sign-up for each position. ONLY AVAILABLE FOR A HALF SHIFT? JUST SEND US A MESSAGE! Age Requirements: Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent, caregiver, or Youth Group leader over 18 at all times.
